West Mearns Parish

The Presbytery Plan outlines several upcoming changes that we will implement in due time. One significant challenge is developing our Mission Plan for the newly formed Parish, which consolidates West Mearns Parish with the linked Parishes of Aberluthnott and Laurencekirk into a single Parish served by one minister. This necessitates careful planning regarding our buildings, worship service resources, and financial and long-term sustainability. Essentially, we must re-imagine (re-envision) the church for the future.

A key part of this process involves consulting with the various congregations and communities. Please respond to the questionnaire as openly and honestly as possible to aid our future discussions.

All references to “our church” are references to our local parish church and not the national church.
